Back on February 2012, Mira-Cle signed an Emergency Response Plan Consultancy Service contract with Lilly Lebanon, aiming at maintaining the safety of Lilly’s employees at instants of emergencies. This contract included maintaining Safety Tools in place, evacuation maps, emergency response team trainings, fully developed emergency response plan, communicating the plan with Lilly employees, and finally performing the first announced evacuation drill – took place on May 4th, 2012.
Supported by the Ministry of Interior “Security Forces” and the Lebanese Red Cross, Eng. Ebrahem Abdullah – ERTC in the Oil & Gas Industry, and most of all the responsible emergency response team at Lilly, Mira-Cle planned, trained and supervised a successful evacuation drill with a simulation of building-on-fire for Lilly Lebanon. During this drill, Lilly employees were carried to safety, 210 meters away from the presumed incident location in just 4 minutes 40 seconds.
This drill comes in context with Lilly’s application of international safety standards for its employees, in cooperation with Mira-Ce – ERP division – specialized in promoting safety prevention and protection to Lebanese companies from various industries.
